Users draw and submit their own creature designs and all three are based on user suggestions. I'm allowed to alter them as I see fit, so while they all resemble the original user designs, they also differ in varying degrees.
For instance:
Abet: egg is very loosely based on the user design, the original was a skull with hair, the first and second stages follow the original poses closely, but the third stage I altered the pose to fit the canvas better. Overall, I added the idea that its outgrowing it's bandages, tweaked the skull shape, changed the colours and removed a second skull that I didn't find very aesthetically pleasing.
Scorbis: egg is entirely my design, first and second poses are entirely mine, the third pose is closely based on the user suggestion, overall I only kept the scorpion back and tail. I made it canine and added the third pair of legs, the large claws, and changed the colours a bit. I also removed some spikes coming out of its joints.
Sherth: egg is all my design, second stage follows the user suggestion exactly, but the first and third poses are mine. Only alteration is I removed some spines coming out of the horns because it was getting too busy and detailed for such a small canvas.
I compared the creatures from the website ITSELF and it's barely changes, heck, I could say that it does not change at all. All you did was take the image and make it bigger.
I'm not saying that what you did is BAD, but what is bad is the fact that you said that you changed it, when you barely did.
These ARE the official images. I work for Ian (the owner of Egg Cave) and I drew the images for the website. How would I have bigger images that retain quality if I didn't have access to the source files? You say you play on the site, well, have you not noticed in the archives, some creatures have additional information at the bottom that says "Suggested by (username)"? What this means, as I already explained, is that users submit their own designs and some of them get chosen to be turned into official creatures.
That is the original user suggestion by goldensunsdragon on Egg Cave. The last stage of the scorbis, and the official creature itself was drawn by me for Egg Cave based on the design suggested by goldensundragon, and as you can see, I altered the DESIGN, and not the artwork itself.
Oh, sorry. I did not know you were the original designer of these drawings. >_< Excuse me! And yes, I have seen the information saying 'suggested by (username here). It's just I did not see that there was any information that you had drawn the website drawing. >->"
